MCC supports the project Cleaner and more cost effective industry in Macedonia with industry outreach.
Founded in 2004, MCC is an independent, non-political and non-profit organization, which serves as an umbrella organization of the six constitutive chambers of commerce. The Industry Chamber is one of the current chambers in MCC. The others are Trade Chamber, Services Chamber, Agro-business Chamber, Tourism and ITC Chamber
MCC’s activities are supported by the government of Great Britain, through its embassy in Skopje, under the Agreement on the Project „Promotion of pro-business environment with the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce” signed on 26th of April, 2006 and the Agreement on the Project “Competitive SME’s contributing to the national economic growth” signed on 26th of April, 2007.
In MCC there are more than 800 members and this number increases constantly. The members are mostly small and medium organizations, which represent the main driving force of Macedonia’s economy.
MCC is important for Macedonia because it is a key element of a well-functioning private sector. The strategy of MCC is to promote and raise the positive profile of MCC to the public by providing timely, relevant and credible information.
